For Less Than the Price of a Video Game,

You Can Own a Game that Entertains Your Whole Family!

As avid gamers, we know the value of finding a place that sells challenging yet fun games.

Our store, in our new location in the Kingston Emporium near the University of Rhode Island, sells games to people who want to entertain their brains.

The board, card and puzzle games we carry are out of the ordinary and thought-provoking games with great replay value.  We have a nice selection of travel games and a variety of games for after-school activities or home-school classes.  We also carry dice, miniatures games and RPGs.

Our games are for ages 3 to adult and are a good bet for getting the family away from TV and video games and into some quality positive entertainment.

In addition to games from several independent game makers from the US, many of the games we feature were created in Europe where the concept of "family game nights" is still alive and strong.   While these games can be more challenging than most of their U.S. cousins they remain:

  • easy to learn and to play
  • relatively short in play time (30, 60, or 90 mins typical)
  • and reasonably priced

We personally recommend all of the games in the store.  We own and play many of them ourselves before deciding to stock them.  We know you will enjoy them as much as we, our family, and our friends do!

  • If we don't have an item in stock that you are looking for, we will special order it for you.  And if you can wait a couple days, there will usually be no shipping charges for the special order.

  • Please check the Calendar and Discussion Forums (links at the top right of this page) for info on what is happening at Games Less Ordinary.
